Obituary of Luise Heitz

Luise Heitz of Greenlawn on January 2, 2022. Devoted daughter of the late Emil and the late Melita Woltman. Beloved wife of the late Walter Heitz. Loving mother of Anita (Frank) Biondo, Christina (Paul) Maykish and Walter (Sandy) Heitz. Cherished grandmother of Walter Heitz, Robert Heitz and Daniel Maykish. Visiting at Nolan Funeral Home on Saturday from 11 AM - 11:30AM with a funeral service to begin at 11:30 AM with Pastor Ted Bichsel. Interment to follow at the Northport Rural Cemetery.

She was thankful for the simple joys of life; childhood summers in E. Chatham with her grandmother, long talks with our father around the dining room table, skating spins on a frozen lake, sharing artistic endeavors, songs like Wem Gott will Rechte Gunst Erweisen, blessings of family, faith, and friends.

A comfort over the years that she faced a gradual increase in Parkinsonian symptoms were verses like: 1 Cor. 2:9 “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined, the things that God has prepared for those who love him.”
