Obituary of Eleni Vantsos

Eleni Vantsos (8/24/37 – 5/5/22), daughter of Athanasios and Vasiliki Bogiatzis who were from the island of Imbros, Greece, passed away on 5/5/22.  She is survived by her loving daughter & son-in law, Betty and Nicholas Berbari, and her beloved grandchildren, Georgina, Elias and Emmanuel.  She was born and lived in Brooklyn, New York – worked at JP Morgan as an auditor, a dedicated member of the Imbriancommunity, before moving to Long Island in 2004. Eleni now joins her husband, George Vantsos, who passed away back in 1991. George and Eleni were married in Imbros in 1959. Yaya was a selfless, loving and generous person always helping her family and friends. May her memory be eternal and may she rest in peace in the gentle hands of God!
