Aline L. Haggert, age 90, recently of Lower Gwynedd, PA, formerly of Centerport, NY, died on Feb. 29, at Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA. She was the wife of the late Fredryc O. Haggert, who passed away in 2009. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Bernhard and Lucille (Martin) Sternkopf, Jr. She was a long time member of the Home Extension, and the Long Island Depression Glass Society. Mrs. Haggert enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, and hunting for collectibles. She spent most of her career in real estate in East Norwich, NY. Mrs. Haggert is survived by a son: Brian E. Haggert and wife Sonja of North Wales, PA, daughter-in-law Janice Haggert of Centerport, NY, sister Rita Maurelis and husband Nick of Great River, NY, 2 grandchildren Carolyn, wife of Kevin Heck, of Smithtown, NY and Kristen Haggert of Ronkonkoma, NY. As well as two great-grandchildren Julianna Rae & Liam Alexander Heck. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son Robert, a sister Joan Koch and a brother Bernhard Sternkopf. Friends are invited to her viewing Sun., March 4, 3-5 & 7-9 PM, at Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, Monday 10 AM, Centerport, NY. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
