My sincere condolences to Maret and Larry! Rest in peace, Lil! You were one of the sweetest women I ever knew. You were so kind to my sister Louise and me. I remember all the Sunday mornings with hard rolls and coffee, the Christmas Eve celebrations and the visits from "Santa," the visits to Astoria and the Standard Doll Company and New York City with Larry and Maret (where we met Gertrude Stein one time at Schraft's), your loving parents Munci and Martin, your brother Paul and his wife Lillian, your friends the Baers, your beautiful soprano voice, your husband and my often mentor Joe who I often worked with in the basement, the chickens, the ducks, the kitties and the never ending support from you and Joe. You were loved very much and will never be forgotten.

I was one of the aides that took care of Lillian at OH. She was one of my favorites and we had the best conversation. She loved to tell me about her life and the boudoir dolls her parents made. She was a wonderful lady the loved her Chocolate! She is greatly missed but never forgotten! Rest in peace Lily

This was Ms. Lillian's 91st birthday at Onslow House.. Where her daughter Maret, myself ( Mary) I was one of her aids and a few other of her aides Deianna, Kristan, Kristi and Janice were all with her to celebrate her special day! We loved you so very much Ms. Lillian and we were so happy to have the honor of meeting you and careing for you, you are a truly amazing woman, and missed by all everyday! Our thoughts and prayers go out to all your family and loved ones! Rest in Paradise my sweet angel Lil.....

Lillian will be remembered by many of us as a woman of kind heart and good cheer. She also was firm in her belief that a just world is somehow achievable. She was staunch in the pursuit of 'the right thing to do' in order to encourage others to do the same. Rest in peace Lillian.
