To the Whole Hehir Family: Just read about your Mother. My condolences..... Our families have both been intertwined In the Northport- East Northport Communities during our lifetimes. Carol made a very important contribution to so many organizations .... Even when she was raising a large family. When we saw each other she always was so positive and asked about our family...... We will miss seeing her about town..... You all are in my Prayers ..... You had a GREAT Mom..... You will carry all the lessons she taught you in your hearts forever!!!! We are so sorry to hear about Carol's death. We considered Carol our "church mother" as we sat right behind her or in front of her when we took "her" seat at the 5 o'clock Mass! My deepest condolences to Donald and all Carol's family. Carol was a gift to St Anthony's. It is with irony I remember our many conversations concerning the Ministry of Consolation... I will miss her advice, her dedication, but especially her bone-dry sense of humor. Our phone calls never ended without a kind laugh. May God comfort you all.

We have had the privilege of visiting New York many times over the past 8 years and have spent some time getting to know Aunt Carol. She always had a smile on her face and a listening ear. Always compassionate and caring. We are sorry for your loss. Kurt, Selena and I apologize we will not be there, but we are praying for the whole family. God Bless You!

Please accept out deepest and most profound condolences on your loss, we did not have many opportunities to meet Mrs. Hehir but we have a lasting memory of her up on stage rocking to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" at Colleen and John Pauls wedding. We hope that you all never stop believing in the beauty of celebrating a life that produced so much love throughout such a wonderful family, a family that now continues to grow with new generations carrying her spirit.
