A fitting day to honor my friend Ted. Daytona 500 day was a day we shared for close to 25 years. We made a day of it, leaving at 5 AM, cooking breakfast on the grill once we arrived, getting our racing souvenirs, and watching the Great American Race! Ted attended this race many years before we started going. I started going with Ted after his Dad passed away. They went annually before we did. We had many great times on race day. I know that Ted is beaming from heaven on race day today! I miss you my friend. May you rest in God's eternal peace and love. My sincere condolences to Dottie and family.

This family has suffered greatly and it really is heart wrenching to see people go through such awful circumstances all at once. The power of friendship, family and love will prevail. We honor those we lose by continuing their legacy of love, strength and spirit. Those who live and love well never die. They are apart of us. May Ted and Cristen rest in peace and may the examples of love and spirit they set live forever as it surely will.
