I was so saddened to read about Fran's passing. I still remember her laugh and smile, even though it has been so long since I have seen her. She was such a beautiful person. My heartfelt sympathies go to all of her family members especially Bob and Sandy.
I worked with Fran and am also a parent of one of her former students, my son Michael.
My greatest hope for my children was that they would be people of good character.
Fran made it a point to tell me how nice my son was to her. She was doing something in gym with him and she started to lose her balance and my held out his hand to her to help her. When I told my son he didn't remember it. That's when I knew that kindness was just part of who he is and that my husband and I had raised him well.
Fran will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Love Mary Ann
