I was honored to stand among the Lemanski family today as they said goodby to "Mr. Lemanski" (I use the term affectionately after learning today how the Polish nuns used it). The wake, funeral Mass, and reception afterwards was a celebration of a life well lived. It was moving and beautiful and I have every confidence their dad and mom are holding hands in heaven and looking at their family with endless pride and love.

I have many fond memories of Mr. Lemanski. He was always a kind hearted family man and welcomed me and my family in his home many times. He will truly be missed by many.

Dearest Ted, I was so very sad to hear of the passing of your beloved father. Please know you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. If he was anything like you, he had some personality. Keep him close by remembering the brightness of his laughter, his favorite song, or even the smell of his after shave.
