Beloved brother of Thomas Stanco (Lin) and James Stanco (Susi). Loving grandfather of Michael Cuiffo; Cole, Brooke and Paige Stanco. Dedicated uncle of Jessica Lynne Stanco, Matthew Stanco, Zachary Jamie Stanco, and uncle and godfather of Cassandra Paige Stanco. Michael passed away surrounded by family after a long battle with complications of diabetes. Devoted son of the late Thomas Charles Stanco and the late Espesia Stella Stanco (nee Pilla), Michael was a graduate of Glen Cove High School, New York University and St. John's Law School. An attorney for the City of New York and a private practitioner, Michael honorably served his country in the US Army Artillery with tours of duty in Korea and Germany. Services Monday August 1, 10:00 AM followed by interment at Northport Rural Cemetery 23 Sandy Hollow Road, Northport NY.
