To Jennine and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers to all of you. I will always remember your beautiful mom.
She was a very special lady. I remember being in awe of her strength, honesty, compassion and wisdom. She was a true pioneer. She was a representation of what we could accomplish as young women. Jennine, our friendship goes back a long, long way and meeting your school friends mom is not an everyday event. Meeting your mom for the first time and talking with her left me with an impression that will always stay with me. It also gave me a glimpse of the woman you were going to become. My life long friend!
Love you,
Linda and Mike

Mom-
I know that you are with Grandma & Grandpa now. You are about ten years old, the war is over, and the future is ready for dramatic changes. You will witness and be a part of one of the most incredible times in history that will change the world forever. That is your generation, America's greatest generation. Grandpa (Big Ciro) can now fulfill his promise to you and take you to Italy to visit family and friends.
I also wanted to let you know that you have been my hero forever. The lessons you taught me, I have taken to the classroom. You have made me the teacher that I am and that is a damn good one. We have personally taught over seven thousand students and athletes. From time to time they come back with smiles on their face and thank yous. Most are college grades and many others are honest hard workers, but they are all happy because they learned from us. You will never know the true impact you have had on people and not just the ones you know, because they pass on what you have learned from countless others.
Mom, I am so proud of you!
