I'm sorry that I just found out about your mom's passing in the bulletin today at mass. I am proud to have worked with her at Outreach for a short period of time and to have had the privilege of coaching and/or teaching some of you at Middleville Junior High. May your mom's life be a comfort and beacon to you as you raise your own families. She was a wonderful lady who cared about everyone.

Dear John and all family, Although I know both John and Cathleen through my husband, Bill, I can honestly say in the 2 or 3 times I have been in Cathleen's presence...they were memorable. Her "talking with a smile" is most memorable, Cathleen made you feel "special "in a crowd..You had her attention completely. A rare and unusal gift ! I think of John and Cathleen as Fred Astere and Ginger Rogers....she made him look good...she did it all backwards and in heels. Cathleen was a gem who made this world a better place. We are deeply saddened and still can't believe that we have lost one of our very best friends, a friendship that began almost 50 years ago. Whether it was camping together at Hither Hills, working side by side in Tom Bonomo's dental office, having great meals at each other's home, or celebrating 4th of July and New Year's Eve together countless number of times, there was always a closeness and love between us. Being together always involved a lot of laughter and great memories. Cathleen, thank you for those years. John, John Jr, Thomas, Joseph, Laura and her grandchildren know how lucky they were to have you as a wife, mother and grandmother. We feel your loss very much. We know we'll see Cathleen again in heaven. She will be there for sure...hope we are too. Nancy & Bob Y
