I am so very sorry to hear about Roe's passing. I played softball with her back in the 70's. What a time we had!! She was always good to me - being younger than Roe, I learned a lot from her. I'll always remember that laugh and smile of hers. A number of us tried to track her down using social media as we were trying to bring the gang together one more time. She will sorely be missed. But I know she's up there with my parents, who also adored her, watching a game someplace!! Please know I am thinking about Roe and her family with love.

I just read in Newsday that Roe had passed. I am so sorry for your loss. Roe was one of the kindest people I have ever met. We played softball together many years ago on the Huntington YMCA Mice team. Mickey Norton was our coach and Amos Bozeman also helped coach our team. That certainly was many years ago, but the memories will always be a big part of me. Roe will be sorely missed...
