My prayers and thoughts are with Dennis and his family. We were lucky enough to have met this man who was so thoughtful and caring. He was always there for the Wild Child. He helped us always. He made us laugh and told us it was always going to be ok even when our steering went out side his boat this summer. He never panicked. We did but he got us up and going. God Bless and you will be so missed.
Love, Dwight, Laura, Jason Dylan and Connor Healey

Dear O’Grady Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Dennis. He was one of my first friends growing up in Lloyd Harbor. I have fond memories of bike rides, playing in the woods, zip lines and other silly ‘kid’ stuff with him and my childhood best friend Anne Maffei. He was always kind, good natured and fun to be with.
I often wondered what he had been up to over the many decades since I last saw him. So sorry it is through an obituary that I am finding out. It sounds like he lived life to the fullest and loved what he did for a living and was loved by many.
My deepest sympathies during this hard time.
Sincerely,
Brenda Corwin Wallis (formally of 209 Southdown)

So sorry for the loss of Dennis. I shared many an adventure with Dennis and couldn't have asked for a better friend through thick and the thin. When it mattered Dennis was there, months without talking would seem forgotten when he gave a call to remind me how much he appreciated my friendship. He was never afraid to be honest or tell me he was proud of those he loved. I love and miss you Capt'n Denny aka Mad dog

I am so saddened to have learned of Denny's passing. Dennis had such a huge heart and gave so much of himself to others. He was a great boss who helped me learn many trades and traits that I use every day. He was a great friend who offered fun, respect and appreciation for life. I was fortunate enough to meet Dennis when he first played around at our grist mill in Lloyd Harbour and then when he and Mike remodeled a boat in the Martin's woods. Then Premium Painting Ltd and his time living near St. John's, Cold Spring road house, the Solbert's, Eskimo and even time in Florida.
I lost track of Dennis after the AIG boat experience but never lost my love for him. He taught me so much and I hope I helped impart some wisdom and now I have a hole in my heart from his loss.
God bless you and keep you comfortable in this new chapter. I know heaven will be brighter with your sense of humor and your joy.
My love goes out to your family and I hope they take pride in knowing that you helped mentor others into stronger better people.
All my love,
Chris Kemper
