Roseanne, my next door neighbor for our brief, 4 year stay in Northport was one of the finest and wisest women I have ever known. She was kind, generous, loving: the epitome of a mother and grandmother. My deepest condolences to her large, loving family. I will miss her wit and guidance and forever hold her in my heart.
I have many fond memories of Mrs. Murer but the one that stands out the most is the day after my mother died 25 years ago, she was the first one at the front door the next day. When she came in the house, she just embraced me and we did not say a word, she did not have to. Shortly after was Christmas time and she brought gifts for our family. She could not bear to think that with mom gone, we would have no Christmas. She was a genuine and loving person who touched so many. XOXO
