Freidank, Robert M. on March 7, 2018, in his 81st year, of Moriches, NY. Longtime companion of the late Lee Korn of Long Beach. Survived by son Kenneth (Rocio) Freidank of Atlanta, GA, and daughter Barbara (Brett) Howard of Burleson, TX. Robert was one of seven siblings: Virginia (Gary) Raffaele of Rising Fawn, GA, Marion Fraleigh of Shorewood, WI, Linda (Warren) Taylor of Northport, NY, Jean (Gary) Crow of Atlanta, GA, the late Henry (Maria), and the late Susan. Uncle of many nephews and nieces, Stephen Raffaele of Frisco, TX, Carolyn Shaw of San Antonio, TX, John Fraleigh of Scottsdale, AZ, Fred Fraleigh of Burbank, CA, Edward Taylor of Astoria, NY, Lisa Taylor of Northport, NY, Pamela Vadakan of San Francisco, CA, Henry Freidank Jr. of Greenlawn, NY, Vanessa Schaeffer of Greenlawn, NY, and Heather McGee of Greenlawn, NY; and cousins Ruth Bode of Tulsa, OK and Jayne Swift of Broken Arrow, OK. Adoring son of the late Henry & Evelyn Freidank. Robert graduated from South Huntington schools, Maryville College, TN, with post graduate degrees from Princeton and Union Theological Seminaries, and Nova Southeastern University. He enjoyed careers in the ministry that included assignments in Bogata Colombia and churches in Illinois, and ultimately retired from teaching high school sciences of chemistry and physics.
