Obituary of Douglas L. Lennon, Jr.

Lennon, Douglas L. Jr (Larry) – (83) Born in Bayshore, NY on March 19, 1935, passed away in New Port Richey on May 24, 2018. A special and gentle soul who is loved by all who had the opportunity to know him. Beloved son of the Late Douglas L. Lennon Sr. and Margaret (Klein). Cherished brother of Irene (the Late George) Leedham, who devotedly cared for him for the past 24 years. Loving brother of the late Gwen Lizardi (Joe Lizardi, the late Harold Parezo) and the late Fred Lennon (Sallie Marriott). Treasured by his 14 nephews/nieces, 25 Great nephews/nieces and 15 Great Great nephews/nieces. Also survived by several cousins, including his cousin Ron Lennon (Randy). He leaves us with many happy memories, including his rendition of God Bless America. Reposing Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport Friday 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service Saturday 11 AM at the Funeral Home, Rev. John Jurik presiding. Interment to follow at Northport Rural Cemetery.
