Variano, Virgilio on June 12, 2018, 92 years of age of Northport. Beloved husband of the late Irene. Loving father of Vincent, Peter, Philip, John, and Andrew. Adoring grandfather of twelve, and great-grandfather of three. Virgilio was an avid Chess player, often seen playing with his friends in both Northport and East Northport Libraries. Reposing Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport Friday 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Saturday 10:30 AM, St. Philip Neri Church, Northport. Interment to follow at Northport Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to your local humane society in Virgilio’s memory would be appreciated.
