Obituary of William Henry Underwood

Underwood, William H., of East Northport, NY and formerly of Port Richey, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at the age of 96. He was born on July 11, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York. He is predeceased by his wife of 51 years, June Underwood (nee Berry) who passed away on March 10, 1998. He is survived by his long-time friend and companion Doris Fazio, his Sister-In-Law Dorothy Maier, his nephews Thomas Maier (Joyce), James Maier, Jr. (Fran), William Maier (Carol), his nieces Kathleen Caffrey (Raymond), Nancy Macari (Daniel), Diane Sadenwater (Kenneth), and many loving Godchildren, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins. Visitation is Sunday, October 7, 2018, from 2:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm at the Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Ave., Northport, NY. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, October 8, 2018, at 10:45am at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in East Northport, NY. Interment will follow at St. Philip Neri Cemetery in East Northport, NY.
