Dear Mrs. Donelan, Paul and Jeff, you are all such a wonderful, beautiful family, and the love you show everyone is a testament of Mr. John Donelan and his love for all of you. Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your dad and husband. When we lose those we love, it brings great sorrow of heart. May you find comfort knowing that as our Creator, he counts the number of stars; and calls even the billions of them by name, He has called Mr. Donelan home, to live an everlasting life, free from pain, He is watching over all of you. For the believer there is hope beyond the grave, because Jesus Christ has opened the door to heaven for us by His death and resurrection. Although I've known Paul for years and heard stories about his dad John, I finally had the pleasure of meeting and spending some time with him and Mildred. What a stupendous, humorous and humble man! Thank you for the laughs, and LET'S GO METS! May you rest in peace,until we meet again.

John was my second father- always ready to listen, to help me figure out how to solve a problem. He was loving ,kind, generous, and gracious. He was the epitome of a real man and he was very classy. I learned so much from him over the past fifty years that these few lines will never be adequate enough to describe just how good he was as a husband and father. I will always be grateful for his love and support over the years. He taught me well and I deeply love him. My thoughts and prayers are with Mildred, Paul, Jeffery, their grandchildren, and their entire family. I’ve known and loved all of you over the years and I send you my thoughts and prayers and deepest sympathy. May God Bless John and the entire family.

Such a wonderful grandfather he was to me and my siblings. Filled with nothing but love for his family always willing to help us all no matter what.
