BYRNE - Jeannine (Nee Smiley) Of Northport, passed on October 22, 2018. Predeceased by her beloved husband, James Jay Byrne. Emigrated from Nova Scotia in the 1950's, working at North Shore Hospital in Manhasset as an emergency room nurse and later joining the Radiology Department at Huntington Hospital. Long time member of the Centerport Yacht Club. Survived by sisters Joan Liebowitz of Los Angeles, Joyce Buckley of Ontario; sister-in-law Carolyn; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass at St. Mary's, Roslyn, Wednesday, October 31, 10 AM.
