My condolences. I worked with Godfrey at Sperry in 1990. He was a most brilliant software engineer. We made a number of business trips to Santa Barbara to manage a subcontractor developing a submersible for the navy seals. I enjoyed his company and his wit. He spoke fondly of Carmela.

Having grown up with Godfrey in Astoria as a young child there are many memories in which we share. Holiday's, fishing, hunting and the most memorable of all was our hiking-camping trip up Mount Marcy in the Adirondacks.
Beside the fun side of things Godfrey was the go to Cousin at times when we were stumped in trying to figure something out.He would always make the time in his busy schedule to help you out and was always done with a smile. He was a very special kind and considerate person.
Our thoughts and prayers will be with you always
We will miss you.. Love you Cuz...
Larry

I have known Godfrey for almost as long as I know my husband as he and Carmela were one of the first cousins I had met. And that's almost 40 years ago! I've considered him family from then on. As families, his children and two of mine, who are the same ages, have gone to school together making our family ties stronger. We celebrated many Christmas Eve's together with our families at my house. We have made considerable memories. He was such a kind and patient man. Always on stand by with an amusing tale or joke to tell. I will always remember and miss his opening hello when he called our house...Hi G, this is Godfrey...only the name that my family or closest friends call me. I am so grateful to have know this warm and loving human being and proud to have called him "my" cousin. You will be forever in my heart and missed dearly.
Carmela, David and Corinne, I can't imagine what you must be feeling. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Gina Mallia

Godfrey will surely be missed. He touched my life considerably. I have him to thank for teaching me you could achieve anything to which you put your mind. That was powerful information. I also have him to thank for encouraging me to pursue a career in computers. He was a wonderful influence growing up.
Carmela, David and Corinne: you are in our prayers.
Love,
Mary Ann Monsiegneur and Wayne Smalley

Godfrey will be dearly missed. Growing up he was my mentor, teacher and big brother. I could always depend on him being there for me. He helped and (pushed) me to go to college and I have grown to appreciate that more and more over the years. I can't believe he is gone at such a young age.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
