Our mom Carolyn Hewson is finally at peace. We are sure our dad has a fabulous party planned!

Dr. Hewson made a difference in the lives of many people - as a counselor educator, a couselor of counselors, a confidante, a friend, a wife, a mother and a grandmother "Nana". So many of the people she helped paid it forward by helping others, and so on, and so on. We were truly blessed by this dynamic women.

Longtime resident of Northport, on January 13, 2019, 91 years of age. Chairperson of the Counseling Dept. and Professor at LIU CW Post. Loving wife of the late Donald Hewson. Beloved mother of Kim (Louis) Rodriguez and Anne (Shari Siegel) Hewson. Cherished grandmother of Drew Hewson Siegel, Don Louis Rodriguez & Daniel Rodriguez. Visiting Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, Wednesday, 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service 7:30 PM, Rev. Bruce Kaifler officiating. Private cremation to follow.
