MEMORY
Sometime in the late 1960’s Ray was playing Scrabble with the family. With a smile on his face he placed the word, “anti” on the board. We challenged him. We knew he was testing us when he playfully asked why he could not put “anti, like Auntie Ella on the board”. He withdrew his play, lost his turn and kept us laughing.
At his mother’s Memorial Service we sat frozen in our seats when the minister asked if family members would like to add a few words. After a long pause Ray suggested 1 Corinthians 13: 4- 7 be read.
CONDOLENCE
Ray had a strong faith and his family should find comfort knowing that today Ray is in a better place a place where there is no pain and no suffering. Ray is beginning the promised new life.
