I have known members of Dorothy’s family since 1967. I met Dorothy in 2014 and spent most every afternoon and dinner with her until her death. Dorothy was full of wisdom and love no doubt, but we spent a lot of time laughing and living in the moment. We both loved politics and golf. Her love for her family, especially her grandchildren was profound. She was so very proud of them all. Dorothy was my oldest friend and I always looked forward to our time together. In many ways Dorothy was like a mother to me. I often shared my problems with her and would seek her advice. She was brilliant and helped me to become a better person. I will miss her for the rest of my life. It warms my heart to know I have an ally in Heaven to guide me as live the rest of my days. I feel blessed to have known her. May she rest in peace.

I've only known Mrs. Archer for 131 days, mere minutes in her lifetime. In that short time I found her to be: Accomplished, Admired and Adored Brilliant, Beautiful and Benevolent Caring, Compassionate and Charming Devoted, Direct and simply DEE which was reserved for only family I called her Dorothy Darling What a loss for her family and our community which she served for many years.

Though I've only known Dorothy for a short time, it was very rewarding to care for such a beautiful and sweet woman......I will miss her.... My deepest condolences to her family....... .

While I haven't seen her in years...she was a lovely classy lady. Her children remain very dear to me...and always will be. Sorry to not have her with us anymore. Her, mother, bills mother and my mother all lasted to the same age. We owe them a lot.
