Obituary of Stephen Scola

Stephen Scola of Fort Salonga, NY died peacefully at age 84 on March 30, 2019. He was the devoted husband of Amanda Scola. He was the loving father of Loren Kobus and her husband Theodore J. Kobus III and John Scola and his wife Stephanie Scola. He was the proud and caring grandfather of Owen, Greta, Luca, Audra, Ethan and Theo. He was the fond brother of Peter Scola. Stephen Scola loved his chosen professional path as an accomplished Orthodontist. After 39 years as a practicing orthodontist, he continued working as an attending professor at St. Barnabas University in Bronx, NY. He truly loved working with the students and sharing his experience and love for orthodontics, which he did until his passing. Stephen Scola loved vacationing with family, biking, kayaking, swimming and experiencing all that New York City has to offer with his wife, Amanda. He was a true gentleman, loved talking about the economy/financial markets and family.

There will be a Memorial Visitation at Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport Wednesday 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:30 AM St. Joseph's Church Kings Park. Interment of ashes after mass at Locust Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to M.D.S. Foundation or Huntington Y.M.C.A, in his memory would be appreciated.
