Obituary of John D. Lopez

John D. Lopez, on April 6, 2019, 87 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie (February 2016). Loving father of John D. Lopez, Jr. and his wife Kathryn. Cherished grandfather of Natasha and Kayla. John was a proud member of the FDNY where he last served as Captain at 62 Engine, Bronx, NY. John also was a proud Army Veteran during the Korean War. Visiting Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, NY. Wednesday April 10th from 2-5 & 7-9pm, with Army honors approximately 8:20 pm followed by a religious service approximately 8:30 pm. 

As per the family's wishes, all FDNY member are requested to wear their Class A uniforms for an Honor Guard out of respect to John.
