To Billy, Sue & Jill (and your partners & children),
Aunt Audrey holds a cherished place in my memories. My fond recollections of her were largely formed during the annual summer visits your family made to Little Compton, Rhode Island in the 1970’s to visit the Almeida grandparents and us. Although it was a very long time ago, I remember her as being the most vivacious and witty presence of the adult group. Her traits as a thoughtful and kind human being ----- not to mention being a wonderful aunt --- were on constant display. During the few times I saw Aunt Audrey in recent decades, her lively spirit and graciousness remained in full force. I extend my deepest condolences to you on her passing.

Audrey was always smiling. I have spent the last 13 years living next-door to the Blackman‘s. We would be outside barbecuing at the same time having drinks at the same time telling stories laughing talking about our children. She always seem to be happy I will never forget her smile.May she rest in peace. My sincere and deepest condolences to Billy Susan and Jill.

My memories of Aunt Audrey stretch all the way back to my earliest childhood and all of them, without exception, are warm and positive. What perhaps stood out most about her, I would say, were her kindness and caring: not just to me as her nephew, or to other relatives and family members, but to all those around her. I am sure she brought these same qualities to her patients in her long and successful career in nursing. In my encounters with Aunt Audrey in recent years her brightness had not dimmed; she was kind and exemplary right to the end. I extend my deepest condolences to Billy, Susie, Jill and the extended Blackman family.

To Billy & Yael, Sue & Murray, Jill, and all Audrey's grandchildren:
I cherish 59 years of memories with your marvelous mother/grandmother -- my dear sister-in-law. [I will truly miss her, too.] I wish you all God's comfort and peace.

To Jill and her Siblings, I did not know your Mom that well but the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Jill is the best and speaks highly of her siblings so I have to conclude your Mom was the best! Your moms time apart from your father must have felt painfully long but if you believe they are together again (and I do because non of this existence really makes any sense) then they probably feel like no time has past at all. That is a beautiful thought to have at such an ugly time.
