Obituary of William Byers

William R. Byers on June 3, 2019, a lifelong resident of Northport where he was a village trustee for 16 years. Bill was the owner of Adelaide Byers Real Estate and past Commodore of the Northport Yacht Club. Beloved husband of Lorraine. Loving father of Heidi L. Byers and William R. Byers, Jr., Esq. (Jaimie). Cherished grandfather of Hannah & Abigail. Dear brother of Bonnie Byers and John Byers (Allison). Visiting Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A private interment will be held at the Northport Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org in Bill's memory.
