Wednesday, July 17, 2019Was in shock to see this. Chris reached out to his old Hilaire crew and let us know he wasnt well. I kept saying as soon as I could I was going to see him. So sad I didnt. I would be discouraged sometimes and he would say " Put your big girl draws on , you got this" And we knew he loved his kids dearly. I asked him one day why he chose to adopted his children from over seas? He said with all his heart. " Because no one will ever take my kids from me" I admired him so much for that. And as a cook he taught me alot and I truly appreciated it. To the family I truly am sorry for your loss. God bless

Tuesday, June 18, 2019Chris was a wonderful person ... very easy going, and always ready to have a good time. I never saw him lose his temper, or heard him bad-mouth anyone. He was also quite the foodie. I remember one New Years Eve, at a deli where we were having breakfast after a Hot Tuna concert, Chris went to his car and brought back a jar of caviar. He was right: it really did make the food taste better! Chris loved his family, especially Terri and their 3 kids. He will be sorely missed by all.
