Ellen, a wonderful member of the Hood class of '60. Although we did not share many classes, as I was not a home ec major, we did share a few as we were both in education and did practice teaching. I will remember all the good times we had at multiple reunions at Hood...Ellen was always fun and a barrel of laughs.

My wonderful, funny Hood College classmate, class of 1960. So many memories of good times in the Home Economics lab where we once dropped a casserole on the floor, scooped it up and served it to the Dean! I cherished our friendship. FHgG

Such a dear friend for 63 years and a bridesmaid at our wedding on. You have been my stalwart since my Ellen's passing in 2017 All those wonderful phone calls we made monthly and the silly things we chatted about. It made our day though You will missed greatly far away here in Tucson

Dearest friend. I cannot write here how much I treasured your friendship!!! You were first my Home Ec teacher, then my Harborview Dr neighbor (loved your house) then i cared for Jim till we left LI and went south to NC. Your letters were touching and i know I made you laugh sometimes in mine. I miss you terribly, Ellen, Mrs “S”! Psalms 17:17. With ❤️
