Moryl - John Joseph, known as Jack to family and friends, passed away Wednesday, September 11, after a long illness. Born in Fitchburg, Mass., in 1943, Jack studied electrical engineering and received a master's degree from the University of Connecticut. He retired from Lockheed Martin in 2006. As an engineer and executive, Jack was instrumental in restoring Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense after federal budget cuts. An avid golf and tennis player, Jack was also a longtime resident of Huntington Station. Jack is survived by his wife, Sharon, son, John, daughter, Allison, three grandchildren, Joseph, Elena, Violet, and his sisters, Mary Sowerbutts and Regina Bouchard.
