Strand, Larry S. - On November 9, 2019, in his 69th year, of East Northport. Beloved husband of Nathalie Strand. Loving father of Daniel Strand (Sandy), Michael Strand & step-father of Susan Masters. Caring grandfather of Ethan, Alexander, Cecilia, & Elliot. Beloved son of Beatrice. Loving Uncle of Laura & James. Fond brother of Janet Moraldo (Vincent) & Thomas Strand (Laurie). Larry was a proud Vietnam Veteran in the United States Army. He retired as a Detective Lieutenant after 29 years in the Hempstead Village Police Department. Reposing Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service Thursday, 10:30 AM, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations to Wounded Warriors Project in Larry's memory would be appreciated. Cremation to be private.
