I have just recently learned of Vinny’s passing. I worked with him for many years at Olympus. While I haven’t connected with him in years, I do fondly recall his great story telling and wonderful sense of humor! We used to eat lunch together daily in our early years at Olympus and shared many wonderful laughs! My deepest sympathy to all the Marino family.

Uncle Vinny, you are the best godfather I could have asked for. Thank you for following and guiding me through my life no matter how difficult it was. I know you will continue to watch over and guide me from Heaven.

The world feels empty without Vinnie out there in it, taking beautiful photos and making us laugh. Peace.

Vin was the first person I met in college, and in less than an hour I knew everything about him.
He greeted people with a smile and a good laugh, but, what made him so approachable was his honesty about who he was. He knew his strengths and weaknesses. He was vulnerable and confident, opinionated and open minded, out-going and shy….all qualities the contributed to his quick sense of humor. He was incredibly passionate about his interests…most memorable, his love for the painters of the Hudson River School, the rock band Emerson, Lake and Palmer, and Bach. Oh yes, and the New York Jets. He was a very unique individual and an important part of my history.
Go Jets!

A wonderful college memory at our annual Maryland crab feast. A great friend who will truly be missed.
