Obituary of Herbert H. McGrail

Herbert H. McGrail – April 20, 1937 – February 22, 2020

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Herb worked at Grumman Aerospace for 32 years, "The Place" narcotics Guidance Counselor founder and president for 10 years, Trinity Episcopal Church Member since 1962, Suffolk County Council, BSA Past District Advancement Chairman for 34 years, Huntington Town Hall ESPOA Committee Member for 20 years. Lake Delaware Boys Camp Graduated 1954 and Alumni Association for 33 years.

A Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Mentor and Friend!

Herb is Survived by his loving Wife Elizabeth (Betsy) Edwards McGrail, His 3 Children Cheryl Rizzuto (Gus Rizzuto), Herb McGrail II (Mary McGrail), and Susan Rocks. 7 Grand Children: Andrew (Kaitlin), Rachel, Andy (Angela), Alex (Joyce), Allison, John and Kylie and his Great-Grandson Aiden.

Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport Thursday 2/27 and Friday 2/28 2pm-5pm & 7pm – 9pm.

The Service of Life will be celebrated at Trinity Episcopal Church 130 Main Street, Northport, Saturday 2/29 at 11am.
