Obituary of Doris Lillian Madden

Doris Lillian Madden of Holbrook, New York passed March 7, 2020 at 82 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Leo; loving mother of Diane Willard and her husband James, Leo Madden Jr., and Deirdre Gordon and her husband Daniel; cherished Grandmother of Patrick, Jack and Bridget Willard & Grace, Kate and Charlie Gordon; and dearest sister of late William Tabel. Doris held a Masters in Education and spent 35 years teaching elementary school in the Jericho School District.  An accomplished equestrian as a young woman, Doris became an avid golfer later in life.  From Long Island to Florida, Doris loved her toes in the sand, a Pinot in hand, and the company of great friends and family. Open house to pay respects to Doris will take place at Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, NY Sunday 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Monday 11:00 am at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Northport, NY.
