Kaufman, Anne Lynch - Of Huntington, NY. Devoted wife of James and loving mother of Kathryn, Jason, and Amanda. Passed away from colon cancer on September 27th, 2013. She enjoyed traveling to tropical locales, was a patron of the local community, and a supporter of numerous charitable causes. She was raised in the tight-knit community of Rockaway Beach, NY and maintained close ties to her hometown throughout her lifetime. She prided herself on being a close confidant, selfless mother, and a woman who stood up for what she believed in. She kept everything in balance, whether it was the checkbook or life in general. She is survived by her parents, Edward and Clare, her brothers Edward (Cathy), Thomas (Nancy), and Robert (Yaneth), and her sister Clare (Patrick). She is also survived by her 6 nephews and 4 nieces. Reposing Nolan & Taylor-Howe Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Ave, Northport, Sunday 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Monday 10 AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Centerport.
