Obituary of Marguerite Boutin

Marguerite Boutin ("Marge" or "Margie" to her many friends) was born on May 21, 1933 to John and Marie Mulligan in Sunnyside NY.  Along with her loving parents, she grew up with her brother John ("Jack"), and sisters Joan and Theresa ("Terry").  After attending St Sebastions grammar school and Holy Cross Academy , Marge attended Marymount College in Manhattan, graduating in 1955.

While working with distinction as a medical secretary for several NY area hospitals, in particular St Vincents, she met Jim Boutin from Woodside.  They married December 3 1966 and had two children, David and Ann-Marie.  In 1973 they moved to Northport Long Island.  After many years as a stay at home mom, Marge returned to work at Cold Spring Harbor High School.  Marge later became the very proud grandmother of Joan, Ellen, and Sean.

Marge will be remembered as a good listener, weather through a chat on the phone, a kind letter, a holiday card, or a casual conversation over a cup of coffee.  She was witty, sincere, and attentive.  Marge was very generous to all who knew her, friends and family alike.  Her comfort was her faith in God.  She prayed everyday for all she knew and loved.

Marge, Mom, Aunt, Sister, and Friend, you are immensely loved and will be forever deeply missed.  Until we meet again. xoxo
