I have known Mrs. Aliperti since i was 15 years old. When i think about her i think of her as Wonder Woman. She always made sure that i was fed whenever i would go to her house. I loved her cooking. I will never forget one night when i was eating dinner Mr. Aliperti looked at me with amazement when i would woof down those string beans. She was a caring and kind person.God bless you Mrs. Aliperti.
Love and Peace

My heart goes out to the family and friends of beautiful Martha. Her children loved and cared for her. To her daughter Mary, my wonderful friend, my heart breaks for you. I know how much you loved your mom and how much she loved you and all the time you spent just hanging out with her and caring for her. I know she loved your home cooking and I have to admit so do I. So glad I got to spend time with your mom especially our fun outing to the Italian restaurant out in Mount Sinai. We all had a great time. Loved sending your mom licorice from Woodstock and her special rose dusting powder. She was so blessed to be able to remain at home. I know she thanked God for her son Ronnie who lived with her. He cared for her and I think she felt he needed her also. I think no matter how old you get a mother still wants to feel needed. I believe Martha knew it was necessary for her to be cared for but also felt she was still the mother who could care for her children. She was still head of the household and proud of it. Martha was truly a blessing to her family and friends.

Mom, you were my buddy and sidekick. I Will always remember our road trips, where you would sing and we’d sneak some sips of wine. “ let’s hit the road!” Until then. I will miss you forever!

Aunt Martha, Thank you for being like a 2nd Mom to me when my Mom (your sister, Pauline) moved to Indiana when I was 20 years old. After 9 kids of your own and countless grandchildren, you still found the time and presence of mind to look after me, your sister's youngest daughter. Over the years you called me regularly to check in with me, often inviting me to "Come over when you have a chance" (no rush/pressure), because you "have a few things" for me. I think I knew even then that it wasn't just about sharing your children/grandchildren's gently used clothing items for me and my boys, which was generous and kind enough in an of itself. No, it was God working through you, with your easy manner and steadfast strength, watching after me and encouraging me to keep strong in the faith. You will be missed, but I am comforted in the knowledge that you are finally meeting Jesus and the Blessed Mother and you will be in good company with Uncle Ray, Pauline, all of your sisters and your beloved Julius, Grandma and Grandpa. Love, Marge (aka, Margaret)

You were the best Aunt Martha - I remember when you met me on Green Street in Huntington when I was going through some growing pains. You were there present, patient and comforting. Thank you. I love and miss you.
