Obituary of Bryon Clegg

Bryon Philip Clegg, 45, of Baldwin Park, Fl and Centerport, NY died Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at AdventHeath Hospital , Winter Park, Fl

Born March 22, 1975 in Norwalk, Ct., he was the son of Philip R Clegg and Gloria (Rawlyk) Clegg, who survive him. He is also survived by his brother Kevin R Clegg , sister-in-law Lauren, Ryan and Kasey Clegg , nephew and niece, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his best friend, Allison Benyo.

Bryon and family moved to Centerport, NY when Bryon was 4, which was a stones throw from Centerport Yacht Club; where Bryon as a youngster developed his love of sailing and passion for the water.

He graduated from St. Anthony's HS in So. Huntington, NY and went on to obtain a AA degree in culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI, where he pursued his passion for food which he got from his strong Polish roots.. great Grandmother, Grandmother and Mom... all excellent cooks. He worked in many top restaurants in NYC And then decided the "Chef" life was not for him and went on to obtain a BA degree in Food Marketing and an MBA in corporate finance.

It was always a love of food that followed him into the Business world, working at LSG Sky Chefs and then Love in Quiches in NY as the procurement director. He started his own business KB & R International Food Group in Columbia and Ecuador, SA. His current employment was at Fresh Express in Windermere, Fl as purchasing manager.

Bryon was a brilliant businessman always looking for the next venture, larger than life , funnier than can be with a love for his family and Mom more than life itself.

Funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in Centerport, NY at 9:00 AM on August 21, 2020 with burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Center Moriches, NY alongside his Aunt and Uncle, Stanley and Kitty Kilinski, his Great Grandparents, Michael and Anna Rawlyk and his beloved Grandparents Stephen and Jean (Pitcher)Rawlyk.
