We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of beloved Joan Donnelly
Our family was blessed to meet Joan through our friendship with the
Donnelly/ Pugh Family. Joan became like a mom to me and Nana to Kierra. We'll always remember her kindness, love, humor, wisdom and contagious smile. Her stories shared over a meal or cup of tea intrigued. We are so grateful that she was a part of our life's journey and is a chapter in our book of life.
Her legacy will live on though the many lives she has touched. Her memory will be in our hearts forever. Our prayer to the Donnelly's, Pugh's and Finnegan's is that her memories, God's grace, and the love of friends and family comfort you during this painful time.
With deepest sympathy Familia Morris

We have such great memories of our time in California with Nana Donnelly. We spent lots of time sitting at the dining table laughing and listening to stories. Joan was always fun to be around whether it was a trip to American Girl store or out for lunch. Joan had a way of making all of feel special. We count our years with her as a special blessing and we miss her already! Love and prayers, The Troutmans

Our deepest sympathy to the Donnelly, Pugh, and Finegan families. Joan was such a wonderful person and we were privileged to know her through Joy, Dan, Robert, Brendan, and Kathleen. Thank you for sharing Nana with us. My earliest memories of Joan were when she came to California to take care of Robert, Brendan, and Kathleen while Joy and Dan were away. I would pick Joan up every weekend for Mass and to run errands. Joan had a no-nonsense way about her and a great laugh and perspective on life. Sunshiny afternoons in Joy's kitchen with Joan, Joy, and Sue sharing a cup of tea and life's moments were special. We will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time. Sending hugs and love. Chris, Harry, Kevin, Ryan & Darlene.

Joan and the entire Donnelly family were a big part of my life for many years growing up on Pulaski Road. I met "Mrs. Donnelly", as I called her my entire life, when I was 2 years old and I became friends with her daughter Susan. I spent many, many hours at the Donnelly home with both Sue and her sister Joy - some of my warmest, most wonderful memories from childhood. Sue and I were always getting into "high jinx" with each other, and Joan always took it it stride. In fact, the last time I saw Joan a couple of years ago, she, Sue and I recounted the many adventures of our childhood and laughed until we cried. Joan had a wonderful sense of humor and I think it made her happy to reminisce with us.
Joan was a warm, generous, and loving person with a deep faith that permeated all that she did. She raised some amazing children that I know she was very proud of (as well as her many grandchildren). It was truly a blessing to have known her all of these years, and in particular to maintain a close bond with Sue, my oldest (longest-term) friend in this world, who is so much like her mother, in all of the best ways.
Joan will be dearly missed.
