Dear Tom, Tim, Pat and Terry, Though this is a sad time, there is no doubt that the Lord has your mom with Him in Heaven and she is surrounded by the souls of so many of our family members. It is such an honor to have known her and it was a special blessing that she and your dad would make an annual (sometimes more frequent) trek to Minnesota so that we could get to know our East Coast cousins. Some of my fondest memories are of spending time with your family!... Ruth Ann and I are not able to be at your mom's Mass because of the COVID restrictions, but we will be with you virtually. You have such a close and loving family, and we know that being together to celebrate your mom's life will strengthen the love you have for each other. We wish you and your families the peace that comes from Jesus and knowing that your parents are now reunited and with your sister, Kay. May God continue to bless you and your families! Having served overseas with the Navy, my son, Andrew, was educated for several years by DOD school teachers in Rota, Spain. As such, I have a special place in my heart for these educators.
