Loving father of Mary O'Donnell (Robert), Lawrence Macholz (Nancy), the late Maureen Flynn (Kevin), Gerard Macholz (Diana), Eileen Barr (Michael), Peter Macholz (Caren) and Thomas Macholz (Jodi). Caring grandfather of Robert (Carrie) and William (Kathrine) O'Donnell, Lawrence III, Alexandra Macholz, Colleen, Bridget and Brian Flynn, Kaitlin, Matthew, and Alexander Macholz, Michael, Shannon, Mikayla and Kathleen Barr, Riley and Derek Macholz, Michael and Julie Macholz. Proud great-grandfather of Mason, Emma, Hailey, and Norah. Reposing Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, Sunday 12:30 to 4 PM. Funeral Mass 10AMSt. Anthony of Padua Church, East Northport. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, with U.S. Navy Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Anthony of Padua Parish Outreach, Food Pantry, in his memory appreciated.
