I was very sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I remember coaching Ron's son, Zach, and my son, Richie, with Ron in the Northport Youth Soccer league when the boys were in elementary school. The boys seemed to enjoy playing and Ron and I also had fun coaching the kids. I also knew a friend from high school that was an acquaintance of Ron's in the sporting goods business.
