This man is a predator. He sexually harassed many women at dog shows across the country and got away with it. I am so thankful he cannot hurt anyone else, including his family. There is a special place in hell for sexual predators

It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Colonel Jerry Weiss, known to me and my siblings as Uncle Jerry. Paula and I offer our sincerest condolences to Aunt Lee and the girls and pray that God blesses them during this tough time.
Uncle Jerry was one of those bigger than life individuals you may be lucky enough to meet during your lifetime. He provided for me an example of a true patriot who deeply cared for this nation and proved it through his selfless service over many decades. I was honored when he accepted my invitation to join my family and me upon my graduation from the U.S. Military Academy and administer my commissioning oath.
Growing up on Long Island with all my cousins from the McGrath side has always held for me fond memories of someone's house filled with kids from the Brennan, Oldham, Weiss, and Kaigh households. Uncle Jerry belonged to that group of esteemed men (Uncle Frank, Uncle Don, and my dad George) who loved their families passionately and worked hard to provide for them. Being a kid at the time I remember them towering over all the mayhem in an amused sort of way, enjoying their drinks and each others' company. Paula and I were also fortunate to visit with Uncle Jerry after he retired and was a nationally known dog show judge when he was in Belleville, Illinois for a show. Despite the demands that came with his judging at these local shows we appreciate that he always found time to meet us. It was great to catch up with him on East Coast news.
God speed, Uncle Jerry. See you on the high ground.

My memories of Uncle Jerry are formed by his strength and kindness that we saw growing up in our big crazy family. More than a person we admire, Uncle Jerry was a man who demonstrated all behaviors and traits a man should aspire to be.
Kathy and I send our love and condolences to Aunt Lee, the girls and their big beautiful families.

Before knowing Jerry as a member of Centerport YC, I recall that he was the first person to say hello when I moved back from Boston, two houses around the corner from his. I believe that my hand is still recovering from his handshake. I will also will never forget that he would always wave hi or stop to chat as he would pass by in his 1985.... 1975?... '35? Chrysler Sebring convertible of which he was very proud.
My condolences to Lee and all the young women who are his daughters.
