I just heard today that Michael passed away. Michael was my landlord for over 8 years. My children and I thought the world of him. He was one of the classiest, hardworking and kindest people I have ever met. Words cannot express the amount of respect I had for Michael and despite all of his accomplishments his greatest one was the way he treated people with his big heart and smile and his helpfulness and wisdom. I am so grateful for the impeccably beautiful rental he provided my family. The pride in which he took on all of his business ventures and our admiration that he was successfully self made. I have not met all of his relatives however I know you must be kind, hardworking people too. My heart breaks for all of you as Micheal was one of those rare individuals you meet that you can say your life was just that much better because you knew him. God Bless You Michael and may you enjoy your eternal reward in Heaven ...until we all meet again...

A man is gone who was so full of life. A man who always smiled and made everything seem so right. He’s gone way too soon, just ripped from this life. He touched many people this just don’t seem right.
We will miss you my friend, your words of wisdom, your smile, your laugh, your kindness and generosity, your touch of class. How do we understand this, where do we start. When you left this world it broke many of hearts. Fly high my friend and spread your wings , and we will remember you forever until
We meet again. Jim

My sincerest condolences to Christine & Mikes family. He will truly be deeply missed. But as heartbroken as we are, I know he will live on in all of us in many ways. The sadness we feel is from the love he showed to those around him. I am so grateful to him for being my friend. His office door at work was 3 feet from mine. Countless times we would chat about many things. A few years ago he asked if he could give me two Met tickets, knowing I am a Yankee can. I jumped at the opportunity and that evening my son (around 9 then) and I had one of the best adventures ever. Between the storm that delayed and cancelled the game, to getting soaked, the laughter, and following makeup game, I knew this would be a permanently lasting memory. All because of Mike. I told him about it and he did not say much. He gave me one of his great BIG lasting smiles and we both knew he did an amazing thing and also knew he did something wonderful for a young kid. Those two tickets were about so much more than baseball. Mike, thank you. You will live on in me and my son always.

In loving memory of Michael Marchia, It was devastating to hear about Michael. I still cannot believe it's true. He was not only my boss, but was my good friend as well. He had done so many thoughtful and helpful things for me and my son, Brendan, over the 20 years we knew each other. Michael was always "there" when I needed help, as I am sure he was for others. I'm sure he will be missed by all that knew him. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies. We are all praying for Christine and the entire Marchia family. With love, Jeannie, Mark, Brendan & Family
