It is May 23, 2022, and I just found out that my friend Doug passed away in April last year. I last spoke to him in March before he passed. My condolences to Kathleen and the family. I am so sorry that I didn't learn of this until know. He was my lifelong friend, bandmate and confidante. We shared many good times and memories as boys becoming men. I have lost a part of myself. I am attaching the only photo that I have of both of us. I think it was in the summer of 1966 and he came to pick me up in his Ford Galaxy. I will miss him.

Dr Byrnes was my Cardiologist and my fathers before me. He was with my father at Huntington hospital the day my father died March 19, 1994 and I will be forever thankful he was there with my dad when he passed. Dr. Byrnes was one of the kindest most compassionate doctors I have ever met. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. My deepest sympathy to his family. I wanted you to know he was so loved and appreciated by his patients. I wish I had known he passed so I could have come to pay my respects to this amazing doctor. May he rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences to Kathleen and family. I worked with Dr.Byrnes for many years at Huntington Hospital and then later in his cardiology office. I will forever cherish the memories I have of working with Dr.Byrnes who was not only a well respected physician but one who truly cared for his patients, family and staff.

My deepest sympathies to the Byrnes family. The Doctor and I first met back in the 1970s at St. Vincents and have been friends ever since. Always a gentleman and totally dependable as a man and physician, he will be sorely missed.
