Obituary of Elaine Kelly

Elaine Katherine Kelly (84) died peacefully in her East Northport home on the morning of Tuesday, April 27th. Elaine, and her late husband William Kelly raised two daughters -- Susan Kelly and Laura Lambros. Once her daughters were in secondary school, Elaine resumed her early career as a secretary, swiftly advancing to serve as the Secretary to the Chief of Staff of the Northport Veterans Administration Medical Center. After retiring from this position, Elaine enjoyed wintering on the eastern coast of Florida, alongside her husband Bill, an avid fisherman. During this time Elaine continued to expand her culinary skills, much to the delight of her family and friends. Elaine leaves her three grandsons, Cornel David, William Lambros, and Dean Lambros, her daughters Susan and Laura, as well as long-standing close friendships.

Visiting Friday, 6:00 - 9:00 pm, Funeral Mass Saturday 9:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, East Northport, NY. Following Mass Elaine will be buried with her husband William at Northport Rural Cemetery.
