It does not look like I will make the funeral and I am very disappointed. Things are not working out. My kids are away and we are baby sitting a 5 and 7 year old. I tried but failed to make arrangements to leave. We just drove down to San Diego from Bozeman.
Chuck and I talked an awful lot on the phone. I will miss the calls. When Gisela would answer he would try to speak in German and then Spanish. One time I was downtown in Bozeman, MT and it was -12 degrees outside but sunny. I decided to go outside to take the call. Needless to say I nearly froze to death, no jacket.
