He was my 7th grade teacher. A gentle and kind man. He loved Native American history and enjoyed teaching it.
Sorry for your loss.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Chris, Tim, and family. I didn't get to know Pete well, but he was always such a friendly, funny and kind person when I visited over the years. A great teacher in our public school system. Rest in Peace, Pete.

As colleague and friend, Pete was such a very kind, compassionate, humble man whose presence and smile nevertheless lit up a room or your day. He was truly dedicated to his profession and his students, and to fighting tirelessly for what he believed was right and just, in his quiet, firm, compelling way. There are too few of him. Rest in peace, Pete, for a job well done.
My condolences to his family, especially his sons, take care of each other and I hope you're continuing his work.
