I was so sad to hear of the passing of Charlene. My heartfelt condolences to the Cosman and Ruppel families on the loss of their loved one. I worked for Dairy Barn Stores from 1972 to 1990, and remember Charlene as a happy, upbeat and always smiling person. Steve Klebaur Sklebaur@roadrunner.com

I am very sorry to learn, belatedly, of Charlene’s passing. We performed together in several Gilbert & Sullivan shows at Princeton. She was a wonderful heroine! Seen here rehearsing the role of Phyllis in Iolanthe.

Charlene and I had at least two things in common: we went to Cold Spring Harbor High School and to Princeton University, but not at exactly the same time. I have very warm memories of this fine woman, because our times at those schools overlapped. Bless her!

Condolences to Charlene's family on her passing. A high school friend of ours posted this notice to FaceBook. Charlene and I were in the choir together throughout junior and senior HS. My memory of her is that she was bright, kind, funny (!!) and had a beautiful voice. I can see her in my mind's eye with that wild auburn hair and her smile which didn't change over the years, as evidenced by this recent photo. Again, my sympathy.

Charlene was one of the very finest people I have ever known. She and I roomed together for 4 years at Princeton and I never hears a harsh word from her. I have to be glad that she is free of the MSA, but I will miss her terribly. Chuckles, I'll love you always--sara (The photo is our graduation day, it seems like just yesterday).
